Many substances found in our everyday life can be classified as dangerous goods, which pose risk to health, safety, property or the environment during operation and/or transportation. To prevent any hazardous accidents for both crew and other cargo transport either while at sea or air, International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG), International Air Transport Association (IATA) and also with each individual country ports has seperated Dangerous Goods in 9 different classes(Annex “A”) based on the specific chemical characteristics producing the risk. We comply with the all the requirements set by these organizations. These Regulations and others can be a minefield to the uninitiated.
